Typically, the cost of our classes $15 per class. However, in light of our international health crisis, we know that many families are under employed and experiencing considerable financial hardship. If you can afford to pay full price for our Virtual Studio classes, know this will go a long way in supporting our small business, keeping educators employed and ensuring sustainability for arts education. If this isn’t an option for your family, please don’t let that stop you from joining us at a lower class rate. We’d love to have you.

Prance off the page and leap into real life with The Groove by Design Dance’s Virtual Dance Studio. In our Virtual Storytime Dance Class, your kiddos will dance their way through popular storybooks while strengthening vital social-emotional skills right at home! Recommended for students in PreK-1st grade, this live, 30-minute dance class will introduce new and returning students to fundamental dance basics (body, action, space, time and energy) through story-based movement prompts, technical practice, and dance activities that promote literacy, comprehension and memorization skills.
In each session, students will log into our Virtual Streaming Platform on a phone, tablet, laptop or computer and follow-along as a Design Dance instructor facilitates storytime activities, movement games, technical dance prompts, all in real time!
Following each class, families will receive an email with printable activities and worksheets their student can explore even after the online class ends.
